Entire outfit ~ ASOS *
Dear Reader,
I teamed up with ASOS for their 70’s Fashion Icon Campaign, which I honestly couldn’t be more excited about. The 70’s are one of my absolute favorite times for fashion, and a part of me hasn’t ever forgiven my mother for having me in the wrong era. I am a huge fan of paisley prints, bell bottoms, peasant blouses, embroidery, tie dye, and all things floral. For this look, I was inspired by flower child Peggy Lipton (see Polyvore collage below).
Peggy Lipton was an actress in The Mod Squad who rose to fame quickly, iconic for her hippie style and classic 70’s style. As a nod to her, I paired some bell-bottom paisley pants with a black peasant top, lace bralette, and black Birkenstocks (my new addiction). To accessorize, I added a flower crown and beaded body chain. I found all these super cute pieces on ASOS if you were wondering/wanted to pick them up.
And happy early 4th of July!!

P.S. Comment your favorite thing about the 70’s – fashion, music, TV show, whatever.
